All staff and postgraduate students should be aware that, following a recent EU tender exercise, the University will have a new Travel & Personal Accident insurance provider for all trips starting on or after 1 August 2017.

All documentation relating to our existing provider, AIG, will no longer be relevant after 1 August 2017 and should be destroyed. AIG will continue to cover trips that started on or prior to 31 July 2017, but RSA will pick up all claims (irrespective of the trip start date) from 31 October 2017.
It is a requirement of the new RSA policy that all planned trips to the Ukraine (Crimea & Sevastopol), Russia, North Korea, Iran, Sudan, Cuba and Syria must be notified to the insurer via the Insurance Office.
