As students prepare to receive their A Level results on Thursday 17 August, the University is ready for Clearing and Adjustment.
We anticipate there being limited places remaining for talented and well qualified students in 2017 across a number of subject areas.
Should a prospective student call you during the Clearing and Adjustment period, please direct them to the Clearing website where they can complete our quick online form.
Alternatively they can call our Clearing and Adjustment hotline. However, please note phone lines can be busy, so where possible we would encourage the online form.

On Thursday 17 August, the first day of Clearing, the University is expecting a high number of incoming calls to the Clearing Hotline number. This may result in many calls from the general public to other university extensions getting a ‘busy’ tone even if the person they are calling is not using their phone.
We would like to ask all University staff to try and minimise incoming line usage by taking callers’ contact details and offering to call them back. Given the volume of calls the hotline will receive over this period, staff are asked to give out the number rather than attempting to transfer the call internally.
Your co-operation and understanding on this matter would be much appreciated.
