FuseMind – smarter search, faster research

Research papers are driving academic discovery and debate across the globe, with more than 50,000 new files being published weekly to a growing online community. Data shows that 170 million students, academics and researchers spend around six hours per week searching for research papers. As the volume of material continues to grow, an inevitable challenge is emerging as users sift through ever expanding libraries to find relevant papers.

Future Worlds’ most recent startup, FuseMind, offers an innovative solution.

Prezemek Zientala explained:

As students, we’ve seen this process is becoming increasingly difficult. The number of papers is growing at a staggering rate but the tools available to filter through them have not kept up with the pace.

The three student entrepreneurs at the University of Southampton (pictured above), are tapping into cutting-edge AI algorithms in order to empower users smarter academic search. The founders have created a tool that helps students and researchers find papers that are truly relevant to them, much faster and more efficiently than currently possible.

FuseMind recently filmed its Future Worlds startup video on Highfield Campus. You can watch it below, or by clicking here.
