Uncovering the impact of microbeads

Plastic pollution in our oceans is one of the biggest global concerns at the moment. Microbeads, the tiny spheres found in countless everyday cosmetic products, contribute significantly to this problem and have a lasting impact on the world around us.

Dr Simon Boxall, Principal Teaching Fellow within Ocean and Earth Science, explores this issue in our latest video, taking us to our unique Waterfront Campus to discuss the issue of protecting our sea life from this threat.
