Join Future Worlds‘ Ali Tavassoli for this month’s entrepreneur talk ‘From the lab to the clinic, and back again’ on Thursday 21 September from 12:30 to 14:00. The free event is taking place on Highfield Campus in Building 67, Room 1007/CLS Lecture Room B.
Ali is a Professor of Chemical Biology at the University and an Enterprise Champion in its Department of Chemistry. A former recipient of a European Young Chemist medal, his research efforts are directed towards the discovery and development of protein-protein interaction inhibitors, building upon the potential of a platform he co-developed at Penn State University in the U.S.A. In this talk, Ali will discuss his experience of commercialising his research output from his lab.
