Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday, 28 September: Building 67

The Macmillan Survivorship Research Group at the University are holding a coffee morning in the foyer of B67 on Thursday, 28 September from 10:00 until everything is sold!

The Group are hoping to raise as much money as possible (hopefully beating last year’s total of £423) for Macmillan Cancer Support who provide practical, medical and financial support for those affected by cancer, as well as researching and pushing for better cancer care. So come along and help them support this incredible charity by having a cuppa and a cake.

The team will be busy baking but any donations of cakes, biscuits or sweet treats would be gratefully received! Donations can be brought to the foyer or E4001 in Building 67 on the morning of Thursday, 28 September, or 67/2011 on Wednesday, 27 September.

The Macmillan Survivorship Research Group is based at the Faculty of Health Sciences. It is funded by Macmillan Cancer Support to conduct research into issues that affect survivors of cancer.  Their research focuses on understanding recovery of health and well-being following cancer treatment and supporting self-management of cancer-related problems following treatment.
