Food Security Public Lecture: video now available

If you missed the recent Environment Public Lecture on Food Security on 13 September, a video of the event is now available here.

Food security is one of the greatest challenges facing mankind in the 21st century.  The lecture looked at the world’s food system and the issues involved in ensuring food security with keynote speeches from:

  • Professor Guy Poppy, Chief Scientific Advisor to the Food Standards Agency and Professor of Ecology at the University of Southampton,
  • Professor Sir Charles Godfray CBE FRS, Hope Professor of Entomology and Director of the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food at Oxford University,
  • Professor Christine Williams OBE, External Director of Food, Agriculture and Health at the University of Reading.
