Taking on hard-to-treat cancers

Scientists at Southampton are working to understand why some cancers are so resistant to treatments and therapies such as immunology.

Mark Cragg, Professor of Experimental Cancer Research, and Gareth Thomas, Professor of Experimental Pathology, are looking at different ways tumours avoid the effects of treatments, and why some types of cancer are harder to treat than others.
