Nominations for the Autumn Elections at the Students’ Union are now open. This is your chance to represent your fellow students and create positive change in the process.
The roles you can nominate yourself for are:
- Academic Reps: Academic Reps are responsible for listening to your concerns and ideas, and communicating these to the University and the Students’ Union.
- Halls Committees: Each Hall at the University has a Halls Committee. This includes one for students living in Private Rented accommodation. Members organise social events throughout the year, look out for students’ welfare and safety and represent their ideas to the Union.
- Winchester School of Art (WSA) Officers: The WSA campus is looking for a new Campus President and International Officer. The Campus President aims to enhance the student experience for everyone studying at WSA, while the International Officer represents international members to make sure they feel integrated into the community.
- Postgraduate Committee: The Postgraduate Committee represent the ideas and issues of Postgraduate students. They also plan social events and make sure all Postgraduate students feel engaged across campuses.
- Zones Open Places: Each of the Zones at the Union has open places available for students. The Zones meet regularly to talk about new ideas for activities and events and to consider the ideas put forward for You Make Change.
Nominations close on Friday 13 October at 13:00, so if you’re passionate about taking the lead and representing your course, your Halls or campus, why not put yourself forward by clicking here.
