The Southampton Common Forum, (SCF) a new organisation which is working to improve the Common, is inviting staff and students to complete a short online survey about their use of the space. This is your final chance to complete the survey, which closes on the 31 October 2017.
Adam Wheeler, Chair of the SCF and a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor, says:
“We want to improve the Common for all those who use it, whether it’s dog walking, running, cycling, commuting, playing or nature watching.
“To help us do this we are keen to hear the views of all University staff and students, whether they regularly use the Common or not. Please share and encourage your colleagues, friends and family to have their say too.”
Southampton Common is 330 acres of open space within the city, providing recreational, sporting and play facilities and is popular both with local residents and people visiting the area.
The survey is open to people across the city.
