The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Christopher Snowden, will be hosting the third of his Student Forums today to give all students the opportunity to create positive change and make a difference.
The event takes place today from 13:00 – 15:00 in Garden Court, Highfield Campus and all students have been invited to register and attend. If you’re a student and want to attend, there is still time to book here.
Students can meet and talk with Jane Savidge, Executive Director of Student Experience, Samuel Dedman, VP Education for the Students’ Union as well as staff representing a number of services across the University.
More than half of the points raised were resolved within 4 weeks following previous forums. This led to the introduction of new initiatives such as a new work-shadowing scheme and additional support for our nursing students.
After the forum, attendees will be invited on a group tour of the new refurbishments within the Hartley Library, which were informed by student feedback.
