Small Business Clinics to offer free advice

Do you have a good idea that could be developed into a commercial business? Come along to the University’s Small Business Clinic (SBC) seminars in November for free business advice.

The Clinic provides free advice to students and staff who are interested in setting up or running a small business. It is run by Southampton Business School and Southampton Law School in collaboration with a local business consultant and investor, Renold Tang.

Places are now available for seminar one, entitled ‘Interactive lecture and Q&A on small businesses’, on Wednesday 22 November from 12:00 – 14:00, in Room 2077, building 2a on Highfield Campus. Please register by clicking here.

The second seminar entitled, ‘Starting and running a business and tax issues for business and personals in the UK’, will take place on Wednesday 29 November from 13:0015:00 in Room 2077, Building 2a on Highfield Campus. Please register by clicking here.

Students and staff are also welcome to book one-to-to-one consultations with a Chartered Accountant.
