Celebrating the success of our annual Careers and Employability Festival

This semester, the Careers and Employability Service hosted its third annual Careers and Employability Festival.

Offering over 80 activities, over the course of the festival a total of 4,518 students got involved and made the most of the opportunities at hand.

The Festival brought together two large-scale Careers Fairs (All Sectors Fair and the IT, Science & Engineering Fair), a series of skills workshops, presentations, Recruiter in Residences and one-to-one opportunities. 40 of these events were led by Careers Practitioners and 40 were led by graduate recruiters including: Civil Service, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Lloyds of London, PwC, Rolls Royce and The Technology Partnership.

Over 3,700 students attended the two Careers Fairs, networking with 212 employers. One attendee, Elliott Wong, a BSc Politics and Economics student, commented:

“[The event] provided tremendous insight into what I can do with my degree. A must attend.”
