A publication by Professor Neil Stephen, Head of Academic Affairs at the University of Southampton Malaysia Campus, is amongst the most highly read and cited peer-reviewed papers in Google Scholar.
Google Scholar is a web search engine which stores the text of scholarly literature across a variety of publishing formats and disciplines.
The 2006 paper entitled ‘Energy Harvesting from Ambient Vibration’ was published in the Journal of Sound and Vibration (JSV) and currently has more than 660 citations.
Google Scholar identified the paper in its mid-2017 release of ‘Classic Papers: Articles That Have Stood the Test of Time‘.
The collection identifies the 10 most highly-cited papers that were published 10 years earlier, in a broad range of subject areas.
