The festive season is upon us, which means it’s time to get ready to celebrate at the Union’s annual Freshers’ Christmas Ball on Friday 8 December. This year, the Grinch has stolen inspiration from Christmases around the globe and brought them all under one roof.
There will be a range of themed areas inside Building 42 for you to enjoy, including a Silent Disco in The North Pole, and a BBQ and surf simulator in the sunny tropics of Hawaii. Keep an eye out for a sneaky appearance from the green and grumpy Grinch himself too! There is a fantastic line-up this year, featuring Radio 1’s Scott Mills, Patrick Nazemi and Drop Division.

The Union has even more festivities lined up for Postgraduate students. The Christmas Ball, organised by the Union’s Postgraduate Committee, will be taking place on Saturday 9 December. This is a perfect opportunity for you to get dressed up and welcome in the festive season. Tickets are also available from the Box Office for £12.
