This years’ guests of honour for our annual Christmas Lights event, jointly held by the University and Students’ Union, were President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Christopher Snowden and Union President Flora Noble. During their joint speech, Sir Christopher celebrated our vibrant community and Flora shared some of the amazing achievements of our students and academic reps.
Congratulations to yesterday’s winners:
Clare Hutton won 1st prize – a cocktail master class for 6 people from Orange Rooms
Katy Fisher won 2nd prize – a University starter pack (including: branded Southampton notebook in yellow or blue, branded pen, branded USB stick and one of our new Southampton crest pin badges)
Elaine Gibson won 3rd prize – a voucher for a hot drink and mince pie kindly supplied by University catering
