Support during exam season #ExamZen2018

We know exams and deadlines can be stressful for students, so we’ve brought together a range of resources that can help point you to the right support.

Both the University and the Students’ Union have a wide support offering, from drop-ins to online resources. Make sure you’re aware of your options by reading on below 😊

University support

  • Enabling Services can help support you with advice and support relating to your studies, potential disabilities, mental health problems or specific learning difficulties. Their mental health and wellbeing page provides a wealth of useful information and links. The team also runs Drop-in sessions in Building 37, Highfield Campus from 13:00 – 15:00 Monday – Friday during term time, and 13:00 – 15:00 Monday, Wednesday and Friday out of term time. You don’t need to make an appointment to attend a Drop-in session. If you’re unable to make it to Highfield, the team also runs a Live Chat service on weekdays between 14:00 – 16:00 during term time. A list of helpful contact details can be accessed here. Enabling Services run regular events, such as Mindful Fridays, which you can view here.
  • Faith and Reflection Centre: the University’s Chaplains and Faith Advisors are there for staff and students whatever their beliefs, faith or none. They’re available to those located on other campuses, and can be contacted via Tel: +44(0)23 8059 3511 and email: [email protected]. You can also stop by the Faith and Reflection Centre for a tea or coffee from Monday to Friday between 12:00 – 15:00 out of term time and 10:00 – 17:00 during term time at House 41, University Road, Highfield campus.
