Explore a new country during your summer break and take advantage of the wonderful opportunities available to you as a student at the University of Southampton! Applications for summer 2018 programmes are now open.
Every year, we work with our International Partners to offer our students places at international summer schools. These short programmes have been designed to give students the opportunity to further their independent learning, work on soft skills for the future and meet fellow like-minded individuals.
All Southampton students who are successful in their application will be eligible for the Southampton Opportunity Scholarship of £500 to help towards the cost of your summer school.
This year, we are encouraging students to take advantage of destinations where additional funding is available.

19 June – 13 August 2018

- Washington University in St Louise – International Summer Study Programme
13 July – 17 August 2018
- Application deadline is 1 April 2018
- The Association of Commonwealth Universities, Chinese University of Hong Kong Summer School
1 – 9 July 2018
- Application deadline is Sunday 14 January 2018
