Ever considered working as a full or part-time officer at the Students’ Union?

Nominations for the Student Union’s Spring Elections open on Monday 8 January. The Christmas break is a great time to consider taking on a new challenge in one of their Full-Time Officer roles, or Part-Time Officer positions.

Full-Time Officers (also known as FTOs, or Sabbatical Officers):

There are seven full-time paid roles running from June 2018 to July 2019. This is a unique opportunity to help the Union achieve its vision of becoming a top five Students’ Union in the UK by 2020. You will receive full training and support and there will be ongoing personal development opportunities throughout the year, as you take the lead on various exciting projects and campaigns. Take a look at the job description for each role here.

Part-Time Officers (Student Leaders and Student Trustees):

It’s never too early to work towards creating an impressive CV, and the Union has many voluntary part-time roles to help you gain valuable skills alongside your studies. These roles play an important part in the way the Union is run; from representing multiple sports clubs and societies to our international and postgraduate communities.
