Annual WiSET Awards: call for nominations

Nominations are now open for the annual Women in Science and Engineering (WiSET) awards.

It is widely accepted that women are under represented across the University in the STEMM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine, and Mathematics) at all levels. These accolades reward and recognise exceptional contributions of individuals (students and academic, technical and managerial staff) who have worked to raise the profile and participation of women in STEMM, either at the University or in the community.

To nominate someone, please fill out this form.

We know that there are many such champions throughout the university and we encourage you to make your nominations. Recipients of the WiSET award will receive a trophy and a cash prize presented at the prestigious WiSET Annual Campbell Lecture, on Wednesday 14 March 2018.

WiSET is a University of Southampton action group which provides a forum for women academics and staff to work constructively to make changes, in our everyday experiences, and in the recognition and participation of women in the university community.

To find out more about WiSET please visit the WiSET web pages.
