You may have heard that the current Childcare Voucher Scheme offered by the University will be closed to new entrants from 6 April 2018, and will be replaced by the Government’s new scheme – Tax-Free Childcare (TFC).
HR are hosting an awareness session about these changes on Monday 12 March at 13:00 – 14:00 Building 37, Room 4049 (Senate Room) at Highfield Campus. Please register here.
If you currently have registered childcare costs, expect to have them in the future, or want to find out about the changes, please attend the session to learn more about TFC. Registered childcare includes any Ofsted registered nursery, childminder, crèche, au pair, nanny, playgroup, school or holiday club.
HR will be joined by Computershare Voucher Services (the University’s childcare voucher provider) who will be able to answer any questions you have, and also explain why it’s really important that you consider your choices when it comes to childcare vouchers and TFC.
