The National Student Survey (NSS) is for final year undergraduates across the UK and is a unique opportunity for them to share their views on their student experience.
For NSS 2018, Southampton students will be invited to fill in the survey from tomorrow, Thursday 8 February 2018. If you’re eligible to fill out the survey, you’ll be sent an email invitation containing a personalised link to take part.
The results of the NSS are factored into the University’s planning process and participating in the NSS can be a legacy that helps us directly improve the experience of Southampton students.
The survey itself is conducted independently by Ipsos MORI on behalf of the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the National Health Service, and is fully supported by our Students’ Union.
For students who do not fill in the survey, they will be reminded with further emails and follow up phone calls from Ipsos MORI. The phone calls will start three weeks after the survey begins. Students will be sent further reminders throughout the survey so we recommend completing it as early as possible.
The survey will close on Monday 30 April 2018.
If you’re a staff member, you can find out more about how you can support in the promotion of the survey in our recent Staff Connects article. Read it by clicking here.
