Participate in study into music listening habits using android smartphone

Electronics and Computer Science researchers are running a study into the ways people listen to music through their smartphone devices.

The study will also look at how people interact with music apps and the duration and intensity of their music listening.

If you are interested in participating in the study, all you need to do is install a special app on your phone which can be downloaded here.

The app will track music information and volume (on a pre-agreed list of apps) in order to understand music listening behaviour.

At the end of your participation you will be given the option to review a report breaking down your daily listening habits.

The app will run for four weeks and ask you a few daily questions in the fourth week of the study. Following this, the app will automatically deactivate and can be uninstalled.

This project is funded by the British Tinnitus Association, ERGO number: 30571.
