The Web Science CDT is world-leading and represents a new approach to training PhD students. As well as the full scholarship and no fees, you will benefit from working across two academic disciplines. You’ll be working closely with a supervisor from your chosen discipline and from web science.

Additionally, we aim to support you with a range of professional development opportunities and to give you the opportunity to develop links with our industry partners. We network with the University and with other Centres for Doctoral Training in the UK, as well as with partner research laboratories throughout the world. These partnerships and collaborations mean that we can offer you summer schools and opportunities to work with PhD students from our global network of web science laboratories.

Applications are now open for 2018 entry. Further information about the programme, funding and how to apply can be found here.

Alternatively, you can contact the Web Science CDT directly by emailing: [email protected]

The deadline for applications is 31 May 2018.
