Meliora, the University’s International Symposium of Student Sustainability Research, will be returning on Friday 13 April. Students can register to present or attend by clicking here or through the Facebook event.
Each year, students from across the UK and the rest of the world attend and present their research at this prestigious International Symposium. They also have the opportunity to submit work for publication in the Meliora International Journal of Student Sustainability Research as part of a Symposium Special Edition.
The focus of the symposium will be on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students from all courses in every academic area can relate their work to the SDGs and it is very likely that your Research Dissertation relates to at least one of them!
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their professional and academic skill set in an area working to make the world a better place.
Students and staff involved in the project
If you wish to present at the Symposium, you will need to complete a Presenter Application Form and indicate which of the SDGs your work relates to.
You can also apply to chair a session, join the social media team, be a judge, and be part of the event team on the day through the Meliora Symposium Team Form. We welcome applications from Undergraduate and Postgraduate Masters students from all academic areas and look forward to welcoming students on Friday 13 April.
