Student Forums: working together to create positive change

Student Forums give our students and University and Students’ Union staff the opportunity to work together to create positive change and make a real difference.

Students are invited to the next Forum, which will be held on Wednesday 2 May from 12:30 14:30 in Garden Court, Highfield Campus. From 12:30, students will have the chance to network with staff members representing various departments across the University and Students’ Union, and enjoy a light lunch. From 13:00, students will be invited to raise their questions, ideas and feedback with the panel, which includes our President and Vice-Chancellor, Sir Christopher Snowden, and Students’ Union President, Flora Noble.

Students can book their place through Eventbrite and join the event on Facebook.

Panel:

  • Professor Sir Christopher Snowden, President and Vice-Chancellor
  • Jane Savidge, Executive Director of Student Experience
  • Alex Neill, Vice President (Education)
  • Flora Noble, Students’ Union President

Light lunch will be served during the networking event.

Whether you attend for 10 minutes or stay for the full event, it’s so important that you use your student voice and make us aware of the things that could make a difference, big or small!

We heard from over a hundred students at the last Forum and have been busy actioning their feedback, where possible. We look forward to hearing from even more students at the next Forum, continuing the important and ongoing dialogue between our students and staff.

Find out what changes have been made due to student feedback by viewing the Student Communications Team’s #ChangesTuesday campaign. 🙂

We look forward to seeing you at the Student Forum.
