Participants required: the effectiveness of transport campaigns

The Transportation Research Group (TRG) is looking for people aged 18-50 to take part in a questionnaire to investigate the effectiveness of a recent campaign related to changing people’s forms of travel.

The questionnaire asks:

  • have you seen the recent campaign?
  • is the message clear?
  • will the campaign have an influence on your travel behaviour in the future?

You can take part in the survey here. The questionnaire should take approximately five minutes to complete, so if you live in Southampton or the surrounding areas and walk, cycle, drive, use public transport or any other mode of transport, now is the chance to have your say.

The TRG is one of the UK’s longest established and leading centres for engineering-related transport teaching and research. It was established at the University in 1967 and is based at our Boldrewood Innovation Campus.

Research in the TRG is wide-ranging and aimed at helping to secure sustainable transport systems for the UK and the world. They are particularly interested in how society shapes, and is shaped by, technological developments in transport, commonly termed Intelligent Transport systems (ITS).
