Disability and Employability student event on 16 May

Are you interested in learning more about working with a disability, specific learning difficulty or long-term health condition? Do you want to know more about how employers could support your transition into working life?

For the third year running, the Careers and Employability Service will be holding a Disability and Employability event for students, designed to give you confidence and address any concerns you may have about entering the workplace.

The event will take place on Wednesday 16 May from 13:30 to 15:30 in Building 85, Highfield Campus.

The Careers and Employability Service will welcome four speakers to talk about their own experiences, as well as provide personal insights for either working with a disability or supporting others in the workplace.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and talk individually to the speakers including Richard Cartwright, Deputy Head of the BSc Accounting and Finance programme; James Childs-Clarke of KMPG; Chris Jay of Enable Me; and Sumaira Latif or a colleague from Procter and Gamble.

You can find more information and book your place here.

Please note: this event is aimed at students who have a disability, specific learning difficulty or long-term health condition.

For personal enquiries or to request specific adjustments, please email the Careers Service or call the team on Tel: +44 (0)23 8059 3501.
