We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic students to work at our Open Days. These vibrant events are a chance for prospective students and their families to visit the University to help them decide whether they want to study here.
Student Ambassadors play an important role by directing visitors and answering their questions. Being an Open Day Student Ambassador is a brilliant opportunity to share your experience studying with us, while providing an opportunity to gain and practice skills that future employers are looking for.
You will undertake roles such as: assisting in exhibition areas, directing visitors, giving tours, registering prospective students and showcasing halls of residence.
The pay rate is £7.38 per hour (plus holiday pay) for under 25s, or £7.83 per hour (plus holiday pay) for over 25s.
The dates for the 2018 Open Days are as follows:
- Friday 6 July
- Saturday 7 July
- Saturday 8 September
- Sunday 9 September
- Saturday 13 October
You can work just one day or all five days if you are available. Please ensure you are available to work all day and the Recruitment team will be in contact to confirm shift times. You should also be available to attend an unpaid training session in the week leading up to the first event that you work.
