The Graduate Outcomes survey – your chance to shout about your journey

Graduate Outcomes is a nationwide survey of all graduates from higher education institutions. It collects information on what graduates are doing 15 months after leaving university – whether that’s employment, further study, travel or something else.

You’ll be contacted 15 months after graduation to take part in the survey, which will ask you a few questions about what you’re currently doing, and only takes a few minutes to complete.

Why is it important?

  • The information you provide helps us to give tailored careers advice to our students and alumni about the career paths available to them.
  • It helps policy makers at the University and in government understand the employment market, and make important decisions about course content and funding.
  • The results contribute to Unistats and university league tables, which are published throughout the year, such as the Guardian University Guide.
  • It enables us to share the successes of our students.

The survey, previously known as the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey, will contribute to important statistics on the current state of the economy, and provides insight into the graduate labour market.

How do I get involved?
Make sure you are part of the picture by leaving us with your up-to-date contact details before you graduate. Visit Banner Self Service, via Sussed, to check we have your latest information.

If you change your email address over the next 15 months, don’t worry! You can still let us know your new contact details by updating them online.
