Would you like to develop your business acumen by working with a local company or not-for-profit organisation on a genuine business issue?
The Business Innovation Programme provides students with the opportunity to work alongside other students from different degree disciplines and year groups. You’ll be presented with an issue that your client is facing and you will work together to identify solutions, presenting your recommendations at the end of the programme.

You’ll receive training to prepare you ahead of the project, as well as support from our Careers and Employability Service and the client throughout the eight-week programme.
The programme runs during 2018-19 Semester 1 and requires around four hours of your time each week. It’s a great opportunity for you to gain high value experience alongside your studies and develop key skills to enhance your CV and employability.
Applications are now open until 17 June 2018, with projects commencing in October 2018. You can find out more, including how to apply, here.
Please note: The Business Innovation Programme is only available to students currently studying at the University. As such, if you will not be continuing your studies up to eight weeks prior to projects commencing, you will not be eligible for this programme.
For example: applications for Semester 1 open in April and projects commence in October. If you graduate in June you are not eligible for the Business Innovation Programme.
