The Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA), which represents the 147 Higher Education employers participating in this year’s pay negotiations, has made a final pay offer which provides for increases of at least 2 per cent on salaries.
The offer includes increases of up to 2.8 per cent on the lowest spinal points, where it is acknowledged that the cost of living pressures are felt most keenly.

All five trade unions will now seek their members’ views on the final offer from now to early July.
