On Tuesday 19 June, we’re launching a new SUSSED portal aimed at improving the user experience and updating old hardware and software.
What differences will you see?
One of the main changes is the above-pictured login page which you will see when you search for SUSSED. Once you log in, you will be taken to either the staff or student pages of SUSSED, depending on who you are. It means all University information will be behind this login to increase privacy.
The upgrade will make it easier for staff and students to view SUSSED ‘on the go’ using their tablets and mobile devices.
A summary of the key changes is below:
Key changes to staff content:
- No University content will be displayed before logging in to the Portal;
- Campus & Personal announcements simplified into a single SUSSED announcement;
- Simplified content navigation in ‘Services’ tab;
- SUSSED Groups closed and content migrated to more suitable platforms. If you are a member of staff who uses Groups you will have been contacted by iSolutions about this.
Key changes student content:
- No University content will be displayed before logging in to the Portal;
- Campus & Personal announcements simplified into a single SUSSED announcement;
- Simplified Programme tab.
