University Bike Doctor sessions

Now the weather has improved, you may be thinking about dragging your bike out of hibernation (or filling the bike-shaped hole in your shed). If so, the Bike Doctor can help!

The University’s Bike Doctor sessions take place fortnightly on Highfield Campus and every other month at Avenue and Boldrewood.

The sessions are an ideal opportunity to get your bike checked out by a trained professional. Safety checks and quick repairs are completely free – you’ll only pay for parts.

You can see The Bike Doctor all day:

  • Highfield Campus on 29 June, 13 July and 27 July
  • Boldrewood Campus: 20 June
  • Avenue Campus: 11 July

We also sell refurbished bikes for as little as £30 at regular events on Highfield Campus. Look out for the next event in freshers’ week.

Colleagues are reminded that new bikes and/or equipment can be purchased at a discounted price using the Cycle to Work salary sacrifice scheme.

If you want to know more about our facilities and services for walking and cycling at the University, click here or email [email protected].
