Survey: help us design an App to reduce passenger crowding on trains

The Transportation Research Group (TRG) is looking for rail users aged 18 and over to take part in a questionnaire survey to inform the design of an app to help reduce overcrowding on trains.

Fill in the survey by Friday 20 July to let TRG know what information you need to find empty carriages.

The questionnaire will take approximately seven to ten minutes to complete. The survey is best displayed on a desktop computer rather than a mobile device. If you have any questions, please contact Dr Jisun Kim at: [email protected].

TRG is one of the UK’s longest established and leading centres for engineering-related transport teaching and research. It was established at the University in 1967 and is based at our Boldrewood Innovation Campus.

Research at TRG is wide-ranging, but with a focus on securing sustainable transport systems, in particular by examining how society shapes, and is shaped by technological developments.
