Members of Unite and University and College Union (UCU) have rejected the annual pay offer by the Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA).
The offer, which we reported on SUSSED, would provide for increases of at least 2 per cent on salaries.
Four unions: Unite, UCU, EIS (Scotland’s largest teaching union) and GMB have already consulted their members about the offer. UNISON will consult its members between 9 and 30 July.
UCEA is now arranging for meetings to take place with the unions who rejected the offer under the established dispute resolution procedures.
You can read more details on the UCEA website.
