Hugely popular last year, Enabling Services is once again offering an Eight Week Mindfulness course for our existing students. You can find details on how to apply below.
The course is due to run from each Wednesday from 12 September – 31 October between 14:00 – 16:00.
Mindfulness is about learning to be in the moment, moving away from ruminating on the past or worrying about the future. Studies have shown that this helps to reduce the level of stress we experience as individuals.
In this course, you will learn a range of formal and informal practices which include meditation and a variety of cognitive exercises aimed at bringing greater awareness, clarity and concentration.
The course will require you to attend a group session for two hours per week, as well as complete daily practice at home.
