iSolutions and ICT Transformation Leadership

On Monday 23 July we announced that Professor Simon Cox would be stepping down as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and returning to his substantive academic role.

It is extremely important that we move forward with our Information and Communications Technology (ICT) transformation as a key enabler of our more integrated and effective University. Therefore, we will be looking both internally and externally to find a replacement for this strategic leadership position as soon as possible, but realistically it will be a number of months before a new person is appointed.

To maintain momentum, Oz Parchment, Director of iSolutions will focus on the delivery and support of our wide range of existing digital services and will join the Professional Services Leadership team. The ICT Transformation Programme, within iSolutions, will become more integrated into the University’s strategic change portfolio and will be led by Helen Everest, Director of the University Change Portfolio.

These changes will take effect from 1 August and remain in place until the new strategic leader is in post.
