Public Engagement with Research unit: applications for funding

The Public Engagement with Research unit (PERu) invites applications for funding to develop and run research engagement activities during the 2018/19 academic year. Both staff and PGR students can apply.

All proposals have to demonstrate an ability to stimulate interest, excitement and debate about an area of the University’s research. They will be assessed against the Call criteria.

This seed-funding is an important part of the PERu team’s mission to inspire and support high-quality public engagement with research across all disciplines.

Steve Dorney, Director of PERu says:

“This is the fourth year of our development fund to support high-quality Public Engagement with Research. Previous recipients turned their ideas into inspiring projects and we look forward to this year’s applications.”

For an overview of what has been funded previously, please see 17/18 Projects, 16/17 Projects and 15/16 Projects.

You can find the application form here. Please email completed forms to [email protected] by Friday 5 October 2018.

Award outcomes will be announced online by Friday 19 October 2018.
