This role will be responsible for the delivery of the University’s strategic interdisciplinary research and enterprise strategy. It will ensure integration and alignment with research, education and international strategies across the University through the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) and Official Development Assistance (ODA) steering group. The ODA-GCRF strategy positions the University to engage and partner with Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) in order to co-create and/or co-design collaborative activities that tackle major challenges and hence achieve lasting positive changes.

Candidates should have sufficient management and leadership experience to be able to contribute effectively both in this role and as a member of the wider senior management team, and enjoy the confidence of the wider University community to lead on research and enterprise activities during this period. In line with other Pro Vice-Chancellor roles, this is a fractional (part-time) appointment and the post-holder will report directly to the relevant Vice-President on a fractional basis.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please provide a current CV with an explanation of why you think you will be suitable for the role to [email protected] by 09:00 on Friday 7 September.
