On your bike! Cycle for the chance to win luxury holidays

As part of Cycle September, ‘Love to Ride’ and ‘My Journey’ are running a citywide cycling campaign.

Taking part is free and gives our staff, students and the Southampton community the opportunity to win prizes, including luxury holidays.

You can register to take part as an individual or a team, here.

The campaign also encourages friendly competition between workplaces. You can help our University by registering to cycle, even if you only cycle once in the month of September!

You can also register using several popular apps, including: Ridereport, Strava, MapMyRide and Edomonod.

Our University continues to support cycling to campus as an alternative mode of transport. We’ve increased the amount of cycle storage on Highfield Campus, and continue to offer the cycle to work scheme.

If you’re planning to cycle to the University for the first time, why not find the bicycle parking location that’s closest to you?

Subsidised bike lights and locks are available to purchase from the Unlink Travel Office located above the Students’ Union shop on Highfield Campus.

If your bike has been in the shed/garage for a while and you’re worried it needs some maintenance, you can always bring it in during one of the fortnightly Bike Doctor sessions, held on Fridays from 09:30 – 14:00 on the Redbrick, Highfield Campus.
