Human Worlds Festival 2018: exhibitor registration open

Our Staff and Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) are invited to register to take part in this year’s Human Worlds Festival.

Taking place in November to coincide with the national Being Human Festival, this year’s theme is ‘Origins & Endings’. If you’re interested in being involved, would like help getting your idea off the ground or have any questions about the festival, you can email [email protected]

The Festival gives visitors of all ages the chance to interact with renowned research projects, and other activities which take place at our University. The event is being organised by the Public Engagement with Research unit (PERu), which is keen to encourage new ways of engaging the public with University research.

Key dates:

Monday 12 – Friday 23 November

Evening events will take place in any suitable venue across the city and can take many different formats. It could be a comedy show, poetry reading, pub quiz, film screening or panel debate.

Saturday 17 November

Hands-On Humanities Day will once again see Avenue Campus opening to the public to showcase research through interactive exhibits, workshops and talks. Suitable for all ages, take a look at pictures from last year’s event.
