We hope you’re enjoying your first few days with us. Don’t forget whilst you’re here to take your health seriously! Remember that you will need to register as a patient at a local Doctors Surgery.
During Freshers’ week, the on-site University Health Service (Building 48, Highfield Campus) and Highfield Health (Building 31, Highfield Campus) are offering a one-stop shop registration service.
The quickest and easiest way to register is online, which you can do here for the University Health Service and here for Highfield Health.
Alternatively, in-person registration for new students is available from Monday 24 to Friday 28 September from 09:00 – 16:00. If you need to, you can see a doctor during registration or arrange your repeat prescriptions without an appointment.
If you are registering in person for the University Health Service or Highfield Health GP surgery, please bring your completed registration and alcohol form (provided in your Halls Pack and also available from the Health Service Website), with details of your medical history and any medications you are using, and photographic ID.
Also available:
- Vaccinations are available free of charge for students under 24 years old for health conditions which are more common in young adults living together, such as Meningitis, Mumps and Measles.
- Drop in clinics for vaccinations all week.
- Screening for Latent TB for students at risk. Please click here to see if this screening may be relevant to you.
