20MINFOUNDER: Talk series launched for aspiring entrepreneurs

Future Worlds, a start-up accelerator for staff and students at the University, is launching the 20MINFOUNDER talk series. Founders from disruptive global businesses will be sharing inspiring start-up stories and reveal valuable tips for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The series will kick off on Thursday 11 October with Matt Swoboda. The one-hour sessions, hosted between 18:0019:00 at the lecture theatre in Building 32 on Highfield Campus, include refreshments and networking either side of a striking keynote talk.

Matt Swoboda is the founder of motion graphics and VFX effects venture Notch. He is an award-winning entrepreneur whose start-up is used by some of the world’s biggest artists and brands, including Disney, Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé.

Future Worlds Director Reuben Wilcock says:

“Here at Future Worlds, we’re constantly brainstorming new events and activities that can accelerate entrepreneurs at the University of Southampton into exciting, new start-up journeys. Our exciting, new 20MINFOUNDER series offers our University network the chance to learn from inspiring founders who have been there and done it before.”
