All students and staff are invited to the opening event of the new exhibition ‘The Great War Remembered’ at the Special Collections Gallery and Level 4 Gallery in Hartley Library.

The Hartley Library will be hosting three exhibitions this autumn under the title ‘The Great War Remembered’ as part of the ‘Great War, Unknown War’ programme at our University.
In the Special Collections Gallery, ‘My War, My Story’ draws on material from the Special Collections and runs from 8 October to 7 December. The Gallery is open Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:00.
In the Level 4 Gallery, ‘My Ancestor, Their Story’ uses family material from members of staff and students at our University, and ‘John Garfield: Armistice 1918 – The Cost’ presents a photographic journey through cemeteries and memorials of the Great War. The Level 4 Gallery exhibitions run from 1 October to 11 November and will be open daily during Hartley Library opening hours.
