Research and Innovation Services (RIS) have organised a visit from Research Professional, an online database of research funding opportunities which our University is subscribed to. It offers researchers the opportunity to search for funding in all disciplines, from a wide range of sponsors in the UK and overseas.
A representative from Research Professional will be visiting the University on Wednesday 7 November. There will be three training sessions over the course of the day based at three of the University campuses:

The 1 hour training session will:
- Introduce the Research Professional platform
- Demonstrate how to locate research funding opportunities and news articles which match your interests
- Demonstrate how to set up email alerts to keep you informed of the latest opportunities and news
The database of thousands of funding opportunities is available to all members of our University, and you can browse and filter the opportunities, create customised searches of its content, and share funding opportunities with colleagues. Research Professional also has a news section containing international news on research policy and practice.
