Human Worlds Festival 8 – 23 November

Human Worlds is the University’s annual Humanities-based festival. It is a series of free events for members of the public, including families, to explore the humanities and beyond. The Festival theme for 2018 is ‘Origins and Endings’. Everyone is welcome!

Kicking off on Thursday 8 November with a ‘Dead Good’ Research Café and a talk titled “ American Carnage: Two Years of Trump”. The festival programme includes a crematorium talk, a question time panel event with Dr Lucy Green, a migration event with Professor Jakub Bijak and a People and Brexit Research Cafe. Saturday 17 November is Hands-On Humanities Day: a free-to-attend, family day full of interactive exhibits, workshops and talks. The day will include Minecraft, creative writing and interactive workshops alongside many other hands-on activities.
