The University will be hosting its fourth Postgraduate Open Day on campus on Wednesday 5 December. Colleagues in Student Recruitment and Communications and Marketing have been busy preparing for the event over the past few months, in close liaison with academic contacts across all faculties. This year the focus of the event will be on our Masters courses, as there will be other opportunities later on in the year to promote our postgraduate research provision.
Visitors will be able to meet with academic staff, current students and alumni to find out more about masters opportunities, the application process, funding options (including the 10% alumni discount for our graduates and the UK Government’s Postgraduate Loan Scheme), facilities and student support.
The Masters Open Day will run between 12:00 – 17:30 across our various campus and will include:
- A Welcome talk from our President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Christopher Snowden
- A talk on postgraduate funding, including information about the UG Government’s postgraduate loans scheme
- The chance to speak with academic and admissions staff from all our subject areas
- A drinks reception at the end of the day with the opportunity to meet and talk to some of our alumni
More information and the full timetable of events are available on our website.
