Our very own Southampton University Players (SUP) will perform Agatha Christie’s most successful story ‘And Then There Were None’ at Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) from Wednesday 23 – Saturday 26 January. Tickets are from £10 and you can book here.

Join the award-winning Southampton University Players
Members of SUP include staff, students and alumni together with people from across Hampshire attracted by opportunities in acting, directing, writing, design, costume, lights, sound and more. No previous experience of theatre is necessary. If you are interested in joining please email [email protected].
Gavin Costigan (on the left in the picture), whose day job at the University is Director of Public Policy, is currently rehearsing for the role of Lord Justice Wargrave. He says:
“SUP has always maintained close ties with the University, and still rehearses and performs on Highfield Campus. There are loads of opportunities to get involved with theatre productions, both on and off stage, and a host of social activities as well.”
Other cast members include Dr. Jonathan Shepherd, a Principal Research Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine and a University alumnus.
SUP won Best Play at the Southern Region of the All England Theatre Festival and came within one point of progressing to the English final. They also won Best Play, Best Actor, Best Original Script and Best Technical Achievement (set, lighting and sound) at the 40th Totton Festival of Drama. Each year, the group raises money for charity and performs at other venues and events including Murder Mystery Dinners.
