Where can I study? #ExamZen2019

Exam and deadline season can be stressful, but finding somewhere to study doesn’t have to be.

To make life a little easier, in collaboration with the Students’ Union and the Library team, we’ve compiled a list of places where you can study.

University resources:

University Library sites:

  • You can book a study desk for up to four hours each day within the Hartley Library. You can also book group study rooms in Hartley using this system, as well as group study rooms at Avenue Campus.
  • There are additional study desks available on Level 4 of the Hartley Library so you have a wider choice of study spaces.
  • Training rooms 1009/3009 and 4075/4077 will be open 24/7 (except for any staff sessions advertised).

The Student Life Team is here to support you and will be based in the foyer in Hartley Library from 18:00 to 06:00 every day during 24 hour opening.

Students’ Union:

  • Meeting Rooms 2 and 5 in Building 42 and Meeting Rooms 6 and 7 in Building 40 will be available every day until Friday 25 January during normal Union opening hours for studying. Revision tools, tips and snacks will also be provided.
  • Bar 2 (Building 42) is available as a chill out space throughout exams season. Featuring bean bags, comfy chairs, fidget games, and free fruit.
  • If you’ve got some late nights coming up, information on SUSU’s Safety Bus service can be found here.

Your Wellbeing:

Looking after yourself during exam and deadline season is extremely important. Both the University and Students’ Union have a number of events and workshops running to help you have fun and de-stress. You can find SUSU’s events on their events calendar or by searching #YouAreMoreThan on social media. To find University-run events, make sure you keep up to date with SUSSED News and the Student Comms Facebook page. Just search #ExamZen2019 on either of these platforms for a wealth of information.
